The Easter weekend was a vibrant mix of outdoor adventure and community spirit, centred around our motorhome base in Enniskillen. Despite the unpredictable spring weather which shifted from heavy showers to brief sunshine, the groups energy remained high throughout the festivities. Friday night was time to meet up with everyone again and with 35 vans there was plenty of chat, along with a game of bingo from Brian and light background music from Albert. Saturday morning began with a craft session were members designed personalised Easter Bonnets and decorated pictures. These were all independently judged by a member not in attendance and the winners announced as 1st place Jacqueline 2nd place Sam and 3rd Place Janet. The picture winners went to Ariana and Joan. Each one deserved the large Easter egg given to them. Saturday afternoon featured a lively line dancing session - from beginners to pros, everyone joined in to learn the steps that Jacqueline and Mary had prepared. Saturday evening the hall was full as we were entertained by Dave Kane, he was impressed by the members who showed off all their new line dancing skills. A professional Tropic pamper morning was held on Sunday led by Alex and Joy. They set up stations for foot care, hand care and skin care. Members who attended were spoilt and left totally refreshed. Alex kindly donated £100 to the Chairmans charity. Alex also had a raffle with the 3 prizes going to Janet, Ken and Selma. An Easter egg hunt for children took place, with a hop, skip and a jump they were excited to look around the Motorhome Park for the hidden coloured eggs. Well done to Emily and Ariana who won, each received a little bag full of eggs. Sunday afternoon vouchers were given to each Motorhome as a treat to use at the chippy van. This was by way of saying "Thank you" to loyal members all of whom appreciated not having to cook on Easter Sunday. An ice cream van also rolled in, with a swirl of white and a flake on top,  the children were careful not to drop! Easter Monday a few members left for other commitments while others took the opportunity to complete the walking quiz composed by Lindsey Coalter around Enniskillen, along with some retail therapy. Congratulations to Eric who won the quiz and received a large bottle of wine.Monday evening our Chairman Sam hosted a game of Play your cards right, in the style of Bruce Forsythe with his witty phrases he had the room full of laughter, it concluded with three worthy winners.Tuesday morning, we had a coffee morning. Our chairman welcomed New members Janet & George Purcell and Ann & Roy Harper. He congratulated Selma & Elmer McMullan on their 55th Wedding Anniversary. The number plate draw was won by Ken Little and Selma & Elmer McMullan. Overall, this was a memorable Rally, full of fun and laughter. Thank you to all who contributed in any way. We look forward to seeing you all at our next Rally in Donegal.
