Thanks to our hosts this weekend Moira and Hugh, Caryn and Garry for ensuring safe parking of 38 vans. A good turnout indeed. Friday evening Caryn in teacher fashion conducted a game of Dingbats, ensuring she lifted each team’s quiz sheets, not one second over the called end of each session. Very good game. Overall win by team Nitwits. Thanks to DJ Robbie for playing some background music, whilst we chatted and caught up, with friends old and new. Saturday was dry which was a bonus after approximately 57 days of rain. This meant a pleasant day was spent for some watching the waves coming in to the shore, whilst others went on the ferry to Rathlin Island, did some retail therapy in town and visited restaurants. In the evening Niall ensured we were kept on the dance floor till the midnight hour. Sunday morning the Chairman welcomed all to the coffee morning. He especially welcomed new members Sigita and Ramunus who seemed to enjoy their first rally receiving a free night voucher in the raffle and a weekend voucher in the number plate draw. Lynette also, once again, was the lucky recipient of a number plate draw. Happy birthday wishes went to Joycelyn and Pat. Best wishes were given to our rally officer on a speedy recovery from a dislocated shoulder. A reminder of our members meeting at the end of the month and still some available spaces at the NW200 rally in May for anyone still wanting to book was given. See website.
