The 26th Annual General Meeting of the MCC NI group 24&42 will take place at Newtownards Primary School on Saturday morning, 27th September 2025.Registration will begin at 10am.
Membership cards must be produced at time of registration. AGM starts at 10.30am. The meeting will close after an hour. There will be a half hour refreshment break with scones and tray bakes being provided from11.30am.The Members meeting will commence at 12md.The purpose of the AGM is for the members to receive reports on the activities and finances of the group over the last year, to elect a committee for the incoming year as all present committee must retire at this meeting, although each one of them can stand for re-election for the incoming year. Also to elect an independent Accounts Certifier for the incoming year.
The purpose of the Members meeting, following on from the AGM is for an open discussion as to where the members want the committee to lead the club in the incoming year and suggestions on how to improve our activities. Any tabled motions which need to be discussed by the committee, so an answer will be given, must be sent to our secretary at secretarymccni@hotmail.com no later than Monday 22nd September 2025. All other questions may be heard from the floor but may require to be looked into and an answer given in due course. This meeting will close in an hour or sooner if no further discussion forthcoming.
