Temporary Campsite at Friends School Lisburn. 2nd-4th July 2021
A warm welcome by our hosts John and Elaine Kerr and Robert and Rhubena Watson was given to 35 Motorhomes. Friday evening remained dry, though overcast and rain did appear during the night to leave a fresh dry Saturday. Wallace Park in close proximity was very pleasant to walk round and the shops visited were given trade by our motor-homers.
Saturday evening we were all invited to gather safely around Joe’s Motorhome. He provided a good selection of music which saw several couples getting up to dance on the carpark. A brilliant nights craic was enjoyed by all. It started to feel that we had all started to live with COVID in a safe but normalised way. Although rain kept threatening it held off till just after the last tune was played at 11.30pm.
To all who celebrated birthdays and anniversary over the weekend the hosts and club wish to extend their best wishes. Here’s to more members joining us for more good times in our future rallies.
