Report on Temporary Campsite and AGM from 17th to 22nd August 2021
On Arrival we were warmly welcomed by our hosts Gary, Yvonne and Peter Little. Great hosts who made every effort to ensure everyone enjoyed this special rally. Each day our hosts supplied a quiz and the daily winners were Thelma Kyle-Ewing, Ellie Robinson, B Smith, J Coalter and Ruth Ross.
Despite the consistent rain a total of 120 members in 72 motorhomes attended the rally.
We also welcomed one member from the Lancashire Group who enjoyed our hospitality.
On Saturday morning our AGM was held and our new Committee was duly elected. They all looked rather well in their white shirts/blouses and ties/cravats.
Due to the Covid Restrictions we didn't have access to the hall but this did not curtail the entertainment. Several members brought along gazebos and music was supplied by Gary, Joe and Norman. Members braved the rain and sang and danced the nights away.
Congratulations to Jean Currie and Noel and Heather Boyd on their new Motorhomes. To any members celebrating recent birthdays or anniversaries congratulations from the club.
