On Friday 28th October we were warmly welcomed to Foyle College Derry/Londonderry by Dessie and Mervyn (the terrible twins) and Ruth and Maud Ross.

55 Motorhomes attended, eager to enjoy all the entertainment our hosts had organised for us, and the spectacular Halloween festival the city is famous for.

Friday night saw some amazing transformations as 9 brave men were transformed into all manner of beauty queens vying to win the coveted Miss Halloween crown. It was a very close contest and a sight never to be forgotten! Regina Bush aka Harry Campbell was crowned Queen.

Saturday morning club member Alex Mellon, showcased her Tropic range. £80 from the profits from sales were kindly donated to the chairman’s charity (Diabetes UK NI) along with 2 beautiful gifts for the raffle which were won by Geralyn and Maud Ross.

Saturday night saw more spectacular outfits & beautifully decorated tables which set the scene for a great night of dancing.

Sunday coffee morning the chairman brought us up to date with the club news, Mervyn and Maud Ross we’re celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and kindly shared the beautiful cake Ruth had made for them.

We welcomed new members Paul and Amelia Tohill.

The quiz was won by William McClenaghan and the number plate winners were Robert McCrory and Tom Lowry.

Thanks again to the hosts for a great extended weekend.
Hope to see you all soon at our next rally in Limavady.
