Rally Hosts
Every rally needs its hosts. They take responsibility for running the rally. And there is a surprising lot to be done - welcoming and parking, collecting names and fees, advising on activities, running the coffee morning - so it is the kind of duty, which needs to be passed around! Everyone is invited to take a turn as rally hosts. They should volunteer themselves to the chairman who will supply them with materials and advice on hosting a rally. If they have not run one before, they will be paired with experienced members as co-hosts. If they have run a rally before, they may be asked to work with new members who have volunteered for the role. Rally hosting is hard work, but it can be a lot of fun and certainly gives you an insight into what needs to happen behind the scenes to make a rally a success.

Other Projects
The Committee welcomes suggestions from members willing to run projects under the aegis of the NI Group. Any one interested should approach the Chairman or Secretary.
The Group Rule Book
The responsibility for the overall management of Group affairs lies with the elected officers and committee members. The National Club provides a 'Constitution for Groups' which the committee must follow. However within the Constitution there is provision for alternative procedures, which individual groups may adopt, if they wish. Each group is required to decide which alternatives to adopt and prepare a supplementary constitutional document for itself. The final decision on which alternatives are adopted lies with the Annual General Meeting of members.
Role of Committee
The committee works for the benefit of all members, whether they attend rallies or not. It also takes an active interest in issues, which concern all motor caravanners touring the region. If group members wish the committee to take up any matter of concern they should bring it to the attention of the secretary. Minutes of each committee meeting are displayed on the rally notice board after they have been passed at the next committee meeting. Members wishing to consult past minutes should contact the group secretary.
